A girl struggling with the words she cannot utter
I thought I’d be okay
As long as you’re happy
But when I think of the thirst
And desire I feel
I am unsatisfied
My heart clenches
Watching you walking next to her
The smile I believed to be mine alone
now belongs to her
I am left with only
Resentment and anger
I hate her
Who can so easily walk next to you
I hate you
Who is ignorant of my feelings
But, most of all
I despise myself
Who cannot utter a single word
