My Ghost

She appears in my mind,
In the deepest corners,
Too terrified to look,
Scared of what I’ll find.

Her eyes are so cold,
Empty and sad,
Filled with tears,
Her story remains untold.

She’s in constant pain,
Reaching out,
Begging me to listen,
Driving me insane.

I’ll set her free,
One day.
Bring my secrets to light,
For all to see.

Until then, she remains hidden,
In the depths of my mind,
Bound and gagged,
For, her words are forbidden.
