A witch casts a spell to help a friend but a demon wants to add them to his collection. |
Vincent was sitting at Julie’s kitchen table. She had her taro cards out looking into his future love life. He thought it was a little silly but he indulged her. Vincent considered himself a good looking man. At thirty seven he was in excellent shape, running five to ten miles everyday. He was six foot two with short jet black hair and chocolate brown eyes. He dressed well; being a lawyer at a big law firm afforded him a comfortable lifestyle. Vincent just could not seem to find that perfect girl. That’s why he was sitting in his best friend’s kitchen having his taro cards read. Vincent watched as Julie flipped another card and placed it face up on the table. Vincent smiled as he thought about his eccentric best friend. Julie was fun to be around but she wasn’t really his type. She had long strait blond hair, bright blue eyes, and pale skin no matter how much sun she got. She was slender and tall at five foot seven. She stayed in shape going running with him at lest three or four times a week. He just never really thought of her as more than a friend, a really good friend yes but always just a friend. Julie’s voice interrupted his thoughts. “Vincent. Hey, earth to Vincent.” “What. Oh sorry guess I was wool gathering.” He said with an apologetic smile. “So, what do your cards say? Am I doomed to walk the world alone?” “No, as a matter of fact they say it’s time that you find love.” She stated with a sweet smile. Julie got up and moved behind Vincent. She then snipped a lock of hair from him with a pair of scissors she had laying behind him on the counter. “Hey! What did you do that for?” He complained as his hand moved to the back of his head to feel what kind of damage was done. “Oh, relax I didn’t take that much see.” Julie said as she showed him the small snip of hair. “Now when you go home tonight I want you to lie down and think about the girl of your dreams. Concentrate on that thought as you drift off to sleep. Over the next three nights you’re going to dream of your mystery girl and on the third night she will be revealed to you.” Julie explained as she placed his hair into a small velvet pouch. “I’m going to dream a girl up?” Vincent asked with a skeptical look. “That’s it I’m checking your incense sticks. I think someone might have laced them with something.” Julie laughed at the joke and sat back in her seat across from him. “Laugh all you want, but I’m casting a spell tonight and you my dear are going to go dream walking. Now go on you did say you needed to run some errands before you could go home.” “Alright I’m going and I’ll see you in a few days. Who knows maybe I’ll bring the girl of my dreams to meet you.” Vincent joked as he got up and walked out the door. Julie watched as he walked out then waited until she heard his car pull out of the drive way. Then she snipped a small strand of her own hair and placed it in the pouch with his. “Time to work a little magic.” Julie said cheerfully as she walked outside to her alter. *** Later that night Vincent lay awake in his bed starring at the ceiling. He was thinking about what Julie had said and smiled. “Sorry Jules but I don’t think your hocus pocus can fix this one.” Vincent thought about how lonely he was and how much he wanted someone to hold in his arms at night as he slowly drifted to sleep. *** Julie lay awake in bed excited about the spell she had cast earlier that evening. “I wonder who Vince’s soul mate is.” She mused to the empty room. “Whoever you are I am going to make sure you find each other.” She snuggled down into her soft blankets and drifted off to sleep. *** Vincent was sitting at the bar nursing a scotch on the rocks. He was listening to a blues band playing up on stage. They were really good but Vincent had no idea who they were. He looked around the bar. It was dimly lit with simple tables and chairs scattered around the room. There was a pool table in the back corner and a small dance floor in front of the stage. The place was deserted except the bartender and band. Then the front door opened and a woman walked in. She was stunning wearing a short black dress with spaghetti straps, the skirt came to mid thigh. She had heels on and wore her curly red hair long and loose coming down to the middle of her back. She was only a few inches shorter than he was with a nice slender build. She stood in the door way for a moment looking around the room, and then she came over to the bar and ordered a glass of Chianti. Glass in hand she walked over and sat down at the table closest to the stage. The band played a few more songs before their last set of the evening was over. The band started packing up their gear when the mysterious woman went over and talked to the band telling them what a great set they had. Then she walked over to the pool table and began racking the balls. Vincent had been watching the woman since she had arrived. He was watching now as she leaned over the table to break, her skirt slid up and he had a perfect view of her sexy black lace panties. That sight had him moving across the room toward the pool table. “Want some company?” Vincent asked as he watched her caress the tip of the pool stick with a square of chalk. She turned her head and ran an appraising eye over him. She smiled and nodded toward the stand of sticks in the corner. "Sure grab a stick lets see what you can do.” She replied. Vincent gave her his best charming smile. He was looking through the sticks when he heard the crack of the balls being hit. He turned in time to watch as the two ball fell into a corner pocket. “Guess I’m solids.” She said with an innocent shrug of her shoulders. Vincent walked over and looked the table over. “So shall we make this game interesting?” The woman asked “Depends, what do you consider interesting?” He replied much calmer than he felt. “Each time one of us misses a shot that person has to remove an article of clothing.” She offered as she was chalking the tip of her queue again. Vincent was mesmerized by the care she showed her queue and wondered if she treated her lovers the same way. He decided at that moment he was going to find out, but he didn’t want to seem too eager just yet. “If it were just the two of us I would agree but are you sure you want to show everything to the people in the bar?” He asked She laughed and motioned with her arm. “Look around the bar is closed, the band is gone and Stan the bar tender will be in the back for a few hours at lest. So any other reasons we shouldn’t have a little fun?” She teased as she moved closer. Vincent took a deep breath to calm himself, it was a mistake he could smell vanilla. This stranger smelled good enough to eat. He smiled at his own thoughts then realized. “Just one more, I don’t know your name.” He answered concluding that he really did want more than a one night stand with this intriguing and sexy woman. The woman snuggled up next to him and whispered in his ear. “And ruin all the fun?” She slid away from him and began contemplating the pool table again. She deliberately missed her shot and took her shoes off. “I believe it’s your turn.” Vincent smiled as he shook his head. He couldn’t believe he was going to go through with this. Vincent looked the table over and sunk one of his balls, watching as his mystery girl pouted. She moved over next to him again. “Playing hard to get?” She asked playfully as her fingers stroked up his arm lightly. He missed his shot. Shoes and socks were added to her heels. She made the next couple of shots then as she was setting up her third Vincent walked up behind her. “That’s a difficult shot think you can make it?” He whispered just behind her ear. He was rewarded with a small shiver down her body as goose bumps appeared on her skin. “Hmm, you are dangerous. Why don’t you stand over there.” She said indicting the other side of the table. Vincent complied and was surprised as she turned around and bent over backwards laying her shoulders on the edge of the pool table. He had a perfect view down her dress. She had small firm breasts and her nipples were erect. He was so distracted by the sight that he missed her making the shot. She pushed herself back up with a triumphant sparkle in her eyes. “Not so difficult after all.” She stated with a devastating smile. Vincent decided it was time to end this game. He moved up to the table and took aim sinking the eight ball. Then he grabbed for her. “Game over.” He growled and slid the straps to her dress down allowing it to pool on the floor. “Oh, the games just starting Vince.” She answered as she pulled his shirt over his head and began working on his pants. Within moments they were both naked. He pulled her close leaned down and captured her mouth in a hungry kiss. Vincent slid his hands down to his soon to be lover’s waist and lifted her up, seating her on the ledge of the pool table. She had her arms around his neck running her fingers through his hair as they kissed frantically. Vincent finally pulled back needing oxygen. “Mm… You really do taste as good as I imagined but let’s slow down just a little. We have plenty of time.” He murmured as he leaned down to nibble and caresses her neck. “Slower… umm. gods. yes!” She breathed as Vincent took one of her nipples into his mouth. From that point on talking ceased as they kissed and caressed exploring each other’s bodies. Vincent found that she loved to be kissed where her neck and collar bone met, and that flicking his tongue across her wrist as he moved inside of her drove her over the edge. They made love for hours exploring and touching each other. When Vincent and his mystery lover were finally spent they collapsed on the pool table, Vincent holding her against him her head on his chest. They were startled when someone started clapping. It sounded thunderous in the empty bar. Vincent lifted up on one elbow holding his mystery girl protectively against him. “Nice, very nice. You two will make an excellent addition to my collection.” A dark haired man said as he walked over to the pool table. “We’re not interested. You’ve had your fun watching the free show now get lost.” Vincent warned. The strange man was tall and well-muscled. He was extremely attractive and had a dangerous feel to him. Everything about this guy set warning bells off in Vincent’s head. “Before this spell is through you will both belong to me.” The stranger stated he looked straight at the woman with a knowing smile on his face then vanished into thin air. “What the hell was that?” Vincent voiced but the girl next to him just shook her head and vanished. Vincent laid back on the pool table just staring at the spot his dream girl had just been then he realized that it was all a dream. *** Update The Girl of His Dreams is finished and the rest of the story can be found here: https://www.books2read.com/u/4jD8wk and at Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D9TX6ZS Happy reading. |
