It's vacation time again
but money is short so Ben
decides to take the fam
out back to pretend to camp.

Wife Becky resists.
Daughter Wendy throws fits.
But the family dog
happily sleeps by a log.

Ben hoped to succeed in vain
and it got worse with the rain.
So they packed up and went
back in the house that they rent.

Next time, dear Ben,
at least check the weather when
you decide to take them out
but how about
next time you just save sooner.
