"The Plea"

If only by this pitiable muse
I might gain just false affection
If called for please dissemble
and support my vain mentation.

If rhyming when I rhyme and rhyme
demands some harsh correction
open my head
have a look in
make some close inspection.

A wire crossed?
A screw loose?
Some bug may need detection?!
Anyhow and otherwise
I will just rant on..
with obnoxious intellection.

All I really want..
and All I want to be
is a completely different person
but..
All I am
regrettably..
is me.

A plant
A stone
unmoving.. Fixed!
Non-moving fixed, I am a tree?!

Im still
I lull
A motionless mass
I dont need to be..
But I Be.

If only
If only this piteous mass
could gain just some affection
without being measured
without being judged
without a cruel dissection.

If only by this senseless rant
I might get your attention
if only by my needy plea
I nearly got a mention..
