Poem - Water Fight

Depression, sometimes it's there
and other times it is somewhere.
It's like rain when you already feel wet
irritating when you're already mad

I used to get happy from the sound
of the sea and the shells I found.
But later on in life the sea
suddenly wouldn't comfort me.

Constantly trying to fight
trying to do everything right.
Slowly growing,
sometimes slowing
but never ever give up hoping.

Hoping that one day,
living here or far away.
The sun will shine
the light will be mine
and the rain and sea will intertwine.
