A Thousand Butterflies

A thousand butterflies
Flitter and dance
Grazing the flower tops
As they merrily bounce around.

A thousand butterflies
Bring color to my world
Brightening my dreary day
As they make me smile.

A thousand butterflies
Circle around me
Giving me a moment’s peace
As quiet tranquility engulfs my soul.
