Winter-white queen

When the world freezes at night
The sunshine comes with a new ray of light
a new plant blooms each bright day
with a new life all around.

When dew drops become crystals on leaves
And the cold wind drifts in
When the drops hang on their own
That’s the time of winter morn.

The snow looks so charming
The sun us there warming
The fire still hasn’t gone out
And it will snow that’s no doubt.

The lake has frozen
And 2 feet high is the snow
Its quite warm in here
But outside the temperature’s low.

There are beautiful auroras at night
The aurora light shines colorful bright
I’d love to see them all year along
But I know that winter has to disappear
And make the new life in spring appear.
