Tired of being a slave to the world.
Set the Captives Free

I’ve been locked into slavery,
abused and mistreated
to please the whims of others.

They build me up
just to tear me down,
hoping that I’ll finally break.

I sweat drops of blood,
crimson warmth as it
rolls down my cheek.

Bruised and battered,
I look towards the sky,
hoping for some sort of relief.

God, come save Your people,
end the slavery for good.
Set the captives free.
