This is the interpretation of the book of Revelation by chapter, made easy to understand.
Revelation In A Nutshell Pt. 2
There are three levels of heaven,(3) where God abides, (2) the area of the planets, (1) the area of the clouds. Paul said that he was caught up to the third heaven, where God abides. Chapter thirteen begins with; And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea (of humanity), having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. Again these are seven kingdoms, that ruled during bible times, and the ten horns are ten kings that rule during the end times, anti-christ being number ten, all empowered by Satan. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: The leopard is Alexander the great, the bear Persia, and the lion is Babylon; and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. They all are empower by the dragon, Satan. And I saw one of his heads (kingdoms) as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. This head, kingdom here is the Roman Empire revived. And they (sinful humanity) worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast:
and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast?

who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. Here the beast is anti-christ, also empowered by Satan. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him (anti-christ) to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Here anti-christ kills many saints, and causes sinful humanity to worship him, and by worshiping him, they are actually worshiping Satan. And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. This other beast is the false prophet, he is also empowered by Satan to rule the religious affairs of the world during the last half of the tribulation. The anti-christ rule the political affairs of the whole world, this false prophet rules the religious affairs of the world.

And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. The false prophet has some miracles that he performs. In Exodus Moses threw down his rod and it became a serpent, Pharaoh’s magicians threw down their rods and they became serpents, all the work of Satan. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. The false prophet has the power to order death for anyone that does not take the mark of the beast in their hand or on their forehead, the mark being 666. Chapter fourteen begins; And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins.

These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. Here we are given additional information about the one hundred and forty four thousand Jewish Evangelist. Verse six; And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people. In addition to the Jewish Evangelist, Angels also preach the gospel during the tribulation. Verse nine; And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: If you accept the mark of the Beast (666) you cannot receive salvation during this time.

Verse fourteen; And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. Jesus reaps a harvest of souls during this horrific time of the tribulation. But at the same time, listen. Verse seventeen; And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. An equal amount of souls are lost, having received the wrath of God…And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. This is one of many wars fought during the tribulation.

Chapter fifteen is another one of those chapters that gives us information but does not advance the Revelation. It reveals to us that God is about to pour out His last set of judgments upon sinful humanity, these judgments are called vials, or bowls judgments. These judgments will end the tribulation by bringing the second coming of Jesus Christ. Chapter fifteen and six says. And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth forever and ever. And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled. Chapter sixteen begins with; And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. The remainder of the chapter gives us the wrath of God poured out upon sinful humanity…The Revelation is not recorded chronologically as the events will take place. Chronologically this would end the tribulation. Chapter seventeen would take place at the beginning of the tribulation. It is a picture of a one world religious system that is put in place after the rapture of the Church.

It reads; And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. The seven heads and ten horns of verse three are kings that rule during bible times and end times, the Revelation is telling us that this one world religious system is the work of Satan, who empowered these kings and their kingdoms. Chapter eighteen gives us the commercial section of the tribulation. Chapter seventeen, religious Babylon, eighteen commercial Babylon, verse twelve says; The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! Chapter nineteen is a picture of the second coming of Jesus Christ, listen to verse eleven; And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. Here Jesus is coming to destroy the works of Satan through the anti-christ and false prophet, and to set up His one thousand reign upon the earth. The first order of business comes in verse nineteen, listen; And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army

. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. The antichrist and false prophet are cast alive into the lake of fire. They are the only two people that does not go to hell first and then to the lake of fire, they go directly from earth to the lake of fire. Chapter twenty begins with And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. Here Satan is cast into the bottomless pit for the duration of Jesus reign on earth, no one will be tempted by Satan during Jesus’ reign.

But before Jesus reign begins, there will be a resurrection of the Old Testament saints and a resurrection of the tribulation saints, the church saints was resurrected at the rapture of the church, and all of these resurrected saints will live and reign with Christ for a thousand years. After Jesus thousand years reign Satan will be loosed from the pit and will gather up a multitude of people and they will rebel against God, but is destroyed by fire. Now comes judgment day, listen; And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. God withheld judgment day until after the thousand reign of Christ, now there will be no more rebellion, all those that would have rebelled has already done so and have been judged. Now we go into the Eternal Order. Chapter twenty one gives a description of New Jerusalem, coming down from heaven. And Chapter twenty two gives us a picture of God and man once again in tranquility. Amen
