Oh you may bring out your pizza Your chips and your milkshake But I am the only real food For I'm chocolate layer cake. The others all, pretenders be They cannot match my taste They don't melt in the mouth Some are a squashy, pulpy waste. I'm the noblest of them all Made of the cocoa bean I'm rich in milk, sugar and eggs I'm fit for the king and queen. Take in the sight of me Inhale the splendid fragrance Hold me, softly in your hands Feel my elegance. Put out your tongue and get A taste of my richness Nibble, bite -- chew Feel the bliss, the goodness. There's none that can rival me Some, foolishly, have tried I simply ignore them Us royals have our pride. Close your eyes, I'll take you To meet your wild fantasies Let my taste make this world Become anything that you please. Ignore those peanut crunchies Eschew that popcorn Let mine be the only dish Your table to adorn.
