Rocky and Bullwinkle go to the opera.

Bullwinkle the Moose and Rocky the Squirrel
grew tired of watching, The Dawn of the Dead.
They turned off the TV and they both agreed
to go spend a night at the opera instead.

The squirrel donned a tux and the moose wore a cape
and arriving they both felt the static in air.
They rushed through the doors with all others extant
feeling zings in their spines— the Phantom was there!

So Rocky and Bullwinkle sat near the front
with music intense and the actors deadpan.
Little Rocky sat low in his theater seat,
but the moose sat tall as kvetching began

because Bullwinkle’s antlers rose kinda high,
and this blocked the view of one patron named Mike.
Rocky flew up and landed on the antler;
he gleed: “Now here’s something you might really like!”

Mike’s countenance reddened, he threw up his arms
but as he did the Phantom gave a, HA HA!
which made the entire theater gasp,
and ere long, Phantom was what everyone saw

his eyes so red like Vesuvius lava,
his long, white teeth like daggers ready to pierce.
Mike lunged with fear and his sleeve caught the antler
and Rocky a riot in air; it looked fierce

as Bullwinkle Moose also jerked and jostled,
popcorn going everywhere, the Phantom wild.
Rocky zoomed up and he landed on the stage,
gazed at the cast and said, “I’m an only child!”
