Authors Note: Before we get started I am aware of the lore in the DoA universe and that should a nukenin return to their village or clan they would be executed on sight, and though I'm not aware of any way such a shinobi could peacefully return I do have an idea that I will be implementing in this story. If my idea is one that would be considered possible or if there actually is a way a nukenin could return to their clan without being killed, please for love all that is good and right let me know. Also, this may end up as more of a transformation story than a legitimate body swap, however I will be writing it as a body swap since the protagonist of this story will end up in a different body so in my mind the protagonist will be in a different body than they were born with so thereby considered by ME to be a body swap. I apologize if you the reader don't like that and politely ask that you write your own story since I am doing that exact thing here. I have not, nor will I ever post a negative comment on another authors work due to my personal dislike of the work in question.

Hello there, everyone, I am here to regale you with a tale of adventure, pain, sorrow, danger, and so much more. Now without unnecessary delay I'd like to welcome you to my Dead or Alive Body Swap Adventure.

It had been as normal as any other day in my life, I mean how exciting can a day to day life of attending college classes and participating in extra-curricular activities be. I had been a fan of the Dead or Alive video game series since 2013 when I acquired a copy of Dead or Alive 4 and that fandom (much as I hate that word) continued for years driving me to purchase two copies of Dead or Alive 5 (Ultimate on Xbox 360 and Last Round on Xbox One) all the while enticing me to read up on the lore of the series (insert authors note reference here). My favourite character in the series being the nukenin shinobi Kasumi, and before you jump to any conclusions know that the women of the series are all sexually attractive, however only looking at them for purposes of sexual enjoyment is demeaning and not why I prefer Kasumi to the other women of the series. The truth of the matter is that my research into lore and the story behind the games we love is what inspired my admiration for Kasumi since I believe that she is an exceptionally good-natured person who does not often engage in conflict apart from when there is no other choice the one exception being hunting down her uncle Raidou. I feel as though in this sense Kasumi and I are a lot alike, non-confrontational by nature and possessing a desire to do what is right. So you can hopefully understand why when I found a seemingly discarded Shrouded Moon, Kunai Tempest, and a belt of Kunai I was excited, I mean those are the same weapons Kasumi used in her Ninja Gaiden appearances. Don't get me wrong I had my suspicions as well but who would pass up on chance to own replicas of weapons used by one of their favourite characters, and so I picked them up. The thing that was weird to me was that when I touched the Shrouded Moon I got a jolt, nothing painful or anything but enough to make my hand recoil a bit. I dismissed the shock I had just received and grabbed the weapons eagerly awaiting the point when I got home and could take a good look at them. When I did get home, I decided to turn on my Xbox and play a CPU fight through the fight viewer in DoA5LR, obviously I had selected Kasumi, but I also selected as her opponent Christie since I really couldn't stand her, that and working for Victor Donovan didn't really help her case with me either. I started fight so it could play in the background while I examined the weapons saving the Shrouded Moon for last. When I got there, I was met with another surprise, I noticed that once I picked up the Shrouded Moon my game had stopped. Sword in hand I got up to reset the system but quickly found that I could not move, nervous and not knowing what could happen next, I attempted to brace myself, but little did I know that there was no way I could be prepared for what was about to happen.

I could feel my frame shrinking, which panicked me a little since I already was the biggest person standing 69 inches or 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing in at 160 sixty pounds. However, I did shrink in size, once the shrinking stopped I immediately went to determine how much I had shrunk. I found that whatever force caused this to happen shrunk me down to a height of 62 inches or 5'2" and weighing myself I found that I had also lost weight because of that same force dropping down to 106 pounds or 48kg thus making me the same size as Kasumi and more changes were on the way as once again I found myself unable to move this time my hair grew out, my muscles toned out, any excess hair on my body fell out leaving my skin silky smooth while all the fat on my body shifted into different positions giving me a set of 36D sized breasts. For these changes I was fortunately stood in front of the full-length mirror in my bathroom, so I could see everything that was happening to me but still I failed to notice the changes to my ass and genitalia mainly since I was so focused on the changes to my chest and face. Finally, I found myself able to move again and just stood there for a few minutes since rather than looking at my old self looking back at me in the mirror seemed to be Kasumi or someone who you would think could be her identical twin, but this wasn't just anyone it was me. I decided to go change clothing since what I was wearing was almost falling off of my new body, when I went into my closet I found the same outfit Kasumi wore in the final battle in DoA 5. I put it on since it was the only thing that would fit me and I was surprised how comfortable and enjoyable it was to wear, I had thought it would be tight and restrictive and while it was form fitting tight and restrictive it was not, I guess it couldn't be if shinobi were to be able to be effective in combat thus a tight and restrictive outfit would put them at a severe disadvantage or get them killed. After getting dressed in my new body I went back to my system to reset the thing since I hadn't been able to before my changes, but when I got there not only had the game continued from its stopped state Christie was no longer on screen instead Kasumi stood alone right in the middle of my TV set. Then, she spoke, to me.

"Was it you?"

"What?"

"Was it you?"

"I'm confused. What do you mean?"

"My Shrouded Moon, Kunai Tempest, and belt of Kunai went missing. I need to know. Was it you that took them?"

"No, no I didn't take anything from you, I found weapons that looked like replicas in my world and brought them home with me. Wait just a second and I'll get them."

"Please do."

Dismissing the fact that I just had a conversation with a video game, and my favourite character in that game to boot I pushed the awkward thoughts out of my head and got the weapons, just as I said I would.
