With an unknown freedom, learning only life's lies, this boy sits alone

Deprived of his thoughts,
Wrong in every way,
Never gets anything right,
Never has anything to say.

Punished for his pleasure,
Rewarded for his pain,
He dares not to be happy,
He dares not be sane.

Feeling an emotion,
Thought to be false,
He is barely even here,
He learns life's bizarre cost.

With an unknown freedom,
Learning only life's lies,
This boy sits alone,
He sits alone and he cries.

A social outcast,
An introverted soul,
In his heart,
A large black hole.

Recieving a gift,
He recieves with no smile,
Because he knows,
It shall be gone in a short while.

Along comes a love,
And he feels so strong,
Then she just leaves and fades away from him,
And his pain lasts so long.

Everyday he is spoke of,
Ignorant and ugly,
Worthless and pathetic,
Weird and unlovely.

Hit so hard...
Everyday.
He drops to his knees,
And begins pray.

"Spirit, give me the strength,
To carry on my days,
I've been through so much,
In so many ways.

"Never knowing my real parents,
Only knowing foster homes,
Abusive and obsessive,
And then these people came along.

"I mean nothing to them,
Whether they adopted me or not.
I'm sick of this struggle,
There's so much that I've fought.

"Meeting someone,
Who meant more than the world to me,
Now she's with someone else,
But she'll never see.

"She can never see,
Anything that I feel,
I feel as if my existance,
Isn't even real.

"I feel as if I'm lost,
From the path that was meant for me.
I wandered off,
But regretfully.

"Now I am merely,
On someone elses path,
So I'm being punished,
With a hatred wrath.

"Is everything I've ever know,
Only a stupid lie?
Will any of my hopes and dreams come true,
Or will they just die?

"Spirit forgive me,
For any of my wrongs,
Just please help me,
Sing me your songs."
