Halloween Special
By Lisa Noe*Cat*

Creaking noises throughout the house,
I dismiss this as a rat or a mouse.
Under foot I feel vibrations,
My heart feels weak with these sensations.

A bloody corpse I visualize,
To me this is a huge surprise.
Ole Hallows eve comes this day,
Something scary come what may.

What lies beneath I can’t imagine,
A time for fright, a Halloween pageant.
Here come the vampires, witches, and mummies,
Blood dripping from a werewolf’s teeth like honey.

Someone will scream, another will cry,
For on this night many will die.
Teardrops falling from everyone’s eyes,
Your last breath is much like a sigh.
