Happiness
I never thought the day would come,
To where I would have to say these words.
I thought I was happy in the
loneliness I was trapped in.
Yet the world showed me that
True happiness was yet to come.
That when it did I would know,
And accept it without haste.
When I met you I thought nothing,
But as time moved on and saplings grew
And flowers bloomed, my heart did as well.
The day came where I asked the question,
And was filled with joy.
Now I stand here hand and hand,
With the one, I can say with pride, I love.
The one I vowed to never leave.
The one I vowed to never make cry.
The one I vowed to love now and forever.
I say these two words that will bind us together
