Here I am Lord

Here I am Lord. 
Put your spirit. 
Afresh on my life. 
Move me, heal me. 
Speak Lord, I will listen. 

Above the storms of life.
You reign victorious. 
Bringing your peace, grace and love. 
Touching our hearts with hope. 

When Peter stepped out the boat.
When Jesus called to him. 
From the midst of the stormy sea.
He kept his eyes on Christ. 

When God told Abraham.
He would have a son. 
His faith held on.
For many a Year. 

And imagine the strife. 
When God turned again. 
And said I wasn't him back. 
As a human sacrifice. 

When God told Joshua and friends.
To walk in a silent mass.
Around the walls of Jericho. 
What must have gone through his head? 

When Naomi washed.
In a dirty pool. 
To heal his leprosy. 
He thought he'd lost his sanity. 

But one thing they had. 
Was the trust in their hearts? 
That whatever God does. 
He will surely do. 

So trust in the Lord. 
When he says to you. 
I know this sound strange. 
But I need you to do this. 

For He knows what he asks. 
He will do the rest. 
And lead us into victory.
If we will just trust and obey.
