Love In A Moment of Wisdom

You sit at my feet dear little one
And we wonder you I,
A beautiful world around us
Aunt Sharon baking blueberry pie

Flour on her nose makes us giggle
We set our scriptures on bright
Knowing nods she awards you and me
Keep the search on into the light

Love’s Love in our ancient Book joins us
And with Him we come to prayer:
“For the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
A good understanding have all they
That do his commandments:
His praise endureth forever.”

How sweet a refrain becomes a prayer as your
Head rests upon my chin souls listening

Should we walk in this truth embracing
Love’s Love through His gentle words?
There is His wisdom in your face child
Glowing with Aunt Sharon’s Love

And the joy of being here with you.
