When all the embers burn so low
as dancing flames then cast a glow.

Epic is the song they sing
and comfort is the warmth they bring.

For in the crackling, burning wood,
stands a man where a boy once stood.

Now this man has turned quite gray
with wisdom strong and words to say.

Still no one ever seems to care
and laugh at him with eyes that stare.

And in the flicker of a flame,
no one seems to know his name.
