While getting geared up for Easter Sunday dress, I've had a bad experience with my orders |
This past year I've entirely shopped online at various sites for my new clothing. I had two good reasons to purchase new. One, I haven't replaced my clothing in 5 years time. Second, I busted out of my older clothes with weight gain from acid reflux as eating more food. Not the wrong diet just eating too much food to calm down the acid reflux as food helps. I liked the appeal of a good spring sale with online orders. I have more purchasing power and buy a few extra items too boot while on a roll. I first buy only one item from different designer collections. And, then when one style fits me well I go with it by purchasing even more. I chose more in an array of different colors and patterns as well. That is how I shop and all others that are unsuitable in style, size, pattern or color I return. Recently, I've returned unwanted online items back to the storefront itself rather than mailing them back. Otherwise, I use the return process to get a refund on non-suitable items by mail. It is an added expense for postage for UPS, FedEx or USPS services on returns. I would say that about 1/2 the online purchases have to be returned initially. The re-orders are tried and true for keeping. I live in a busy apartment complex with many buildings and tenant units. I see various delivery trucks daily from my living room window. I know that I'm not the only online customer here. Unfortunately, when they leave a package at my door it can invite thieves with theft. I try to be on the lookout for my delivered packages but my luck was compromised when someone stole my recent order to my apartment. Now, I will pick-up the re-order at the store itself for safety. |
