A Blade of Grass

Morning's graced each blade of
grass with a tiny crown;
A billion sparkling prisms catch
the sunshine streaming down.

Our meadow glitters on and on
as far as we can see,
Like dazzling knights and maidens
in their splendid finery.

Yet some will only see a field
and simple morning dew.
A blade of grass, like anything,
depends on point of view.
