Dream or Reality

I am caught in between this chapter of a dream.
Around me my world starts to crumble. Then cold
Starts to bring in the light that is overshadowed by
The darkness.

Wide-eyed and awake while the echoes of my memories
Haunt my mind. I see the light breaking through the
Shadows, yet I feel them consuming me. Sucking the
Life from me.

Can you hear me? As I start to fall, the shadows start
To call, feeding my insomnia. Then the nightmares
Ensue, engulfing in the emotions of a lost soul. Then
The silence overtakes me.

In the darkness I am tortured by this feeling of
Feeling alone. Then the feeling settles in that I am
Truly alone in this fight for my sanity. As I struggle
With this fight in a dream or is it reality?
