A blind girl meets a guy who is willing to share her pains and miseries with her.
HER EYES

He watched her from afar
He smiled at the thought of her
Sometimes he waved hoping she turns around
But most times he turned back looking all drowned.

She loved watching the stars
But it reminded her of her scars
The pain, the agony, the story behind her tears
The reality, that she must face her fears
She felt the loving stare from time to time
But she believed she dare not spare her grime.

He closed his eyes, walked ahead and asked her name
She got startled for a moment, but continued towards her aim
He felt a knife pierce through his heart
He held her back and asked why she departs
All she did was stare as he whined
And she shook up as he asked if she were blind.

He cried like a child as he looked at her
Asking himself why the world suddenly feels so blur
And the next moment he smiled again
Holding her hands, he promised to be her pen
She shook off her hands and screamed "let go of me"
As she stood stunned that for a moment her heart spouted free.

He never stopped, he promised himself he won't give up
She realized how much she now looks towards tomorrow pup
And 12 years later she looks at him and calls him a blessing
Everyday she thanks him for waiting, clinging, and basking
He looks at her all day and night and continues to be amazed
As he wonders how it all started to end with a pretty phase.
