My perspective of something. Hop in if you care enough. |
I want to die. What? That's all I wanted to say. Bye now. Don't you want to die? At times, when nothing seems to be going your way and quotations like "It bright again after every night; we all got problems, they come and go, that's life; don't give up, you'll make it" etc sound like shit, don't you just feel like punching the person who spewing about all this gibberish and ask him to hang himself? C'mon, don't be modest. You do. I know you do. What I don't get is the point of consolation. If someone is suffering, why would you lie to them saying it'll be okay soon. You yourself don't know how long it'll take for that problem to get sorted. Most of the times, that person just needs a listener, not a liar. Advise is fine. At times it can be helpful and reassuring too. But consolation...No, thank you. And don't you dare tell me that you've been there and done that, and hence you'd know better. No two people are the same. Your approach to a problem will definitely differ from someone else's. Apart from that, the circumstances, the nature of the people involved mostly will vary. (This is not universal, I guess, but I'm talking about general circumstance and exceptions prove my point) So there is no way in hell that you'd know how exactly that person is feeling just because you have been in a similar situation. I just have one philosophy. Everyone's got problems. If you don't, that's just sad. You're living the life of a corpse. Coping is what one needs to learn to do. And though that's not as easy as it sounds it's what make life worth living. And consolation is what dampens that. I don't want lies. I'd rather hear the words,"Deal with it." I'm not weak, I'm just filled to the brim and need to vent. And for once, the vent needs to be someone who'll react to what I'm saying, unlike my stupid pillow that just get wet and soggy after a while. I yell at it like a neurotic. It still it says nothing. Okay. I truly am the hypocrite of the highest order, ain't I? But then again, we all are. Humanity and hypocrisy start from the same letter 'H'. Coincidence? I think not... Anyway, this is just an opinion of a crazy kid... Your thoughts? |
