Every morning seems the same, I got nothing on my brain, Except to drink a big old cup of brew. If there's anything that I've learned, One good way of getting burned, Is to drink it way too fast, you would too. As the brew is going down, I begin to look around, And see the many chores there is to do, Soon I'll have to pee, Feel my brew leaving me, Don't judge until you step into my shoe. It's the same old thing, There's no one to blame, I wouldn't change, Even if I could. I've spent my life on time, Barely earning me a dime. Drinking brew, Makes the morning good. My sweetheart says it's time for work, Get a move on you lazy jerk, I got a list of things you need to do. Now I've had bosses all my life, Don't need to take guff from my wife, So I take a big old swig of my brew. Suddenly I'm back in bed, With a throbbing in my head, And a pain in the middle of my brain, There's a dent between my eyes, From a baseball bat, I surmise, I guess I finally drove my wife insane. It's the same old thing, There's no one to blame, I wouldn't change, Even if I could. I've spent my life on time, Barely earning me a dime. Drinking brew, Makes the morning good.
