His Forever Love

I've been through so much in the last seven years.

Starting at the age of thirteen

And continuing till age nineteen.

I didn't know that someone can feel this much pain.

Until I was old enough to understand.

Everyday I prayed that this brokenness would heal.

Because he was the only one that knows how I feel.

I wish that this heartache would fade away.

Since my life was going astray.

I plead to heaven that was up above.

For God to send me his forever love.

I'm not perfect, I have my flaws.

But please answer my prayers.

I'm lost and can't seem to find my way around.

Because these demons are messing with my head.

Telling me that I was better off in the ground.

That everyone would be happy if I was dead.

Do you even hear my pleas?

Do you listen to my cries?

Lord, I need you more than ever.

All I want is your forever love.

So, please show me a sign.

Tell me that I will be fine.

That you will always have my back.

And will never leave my side.

I'm tired of being attacked.

By the devil that lies.

Telling me to say my goodbyes.

Lord, please help me.

I cannot win.

You're much stronger.

Than I'll ever be.

All I need is your long-lasting love.

From your heavenly home, up above.
