Munching on a New Year

Walking down the old brick road
with a bucket of fish in one hand
and a turtle shell with a coin on the other hand
a small boy headed toward the cave.

Looking for new goals to achieve
he wanted to see the sunrise
with his parents who lived in the cave
and as time passed by turned to fish to eat.

When the sun rises they had promised
the small boy could turn into his dragon form.
As he met his parents the sky lightened
and they taught him how to turn into a dragon.

A century-year-old in human years
just ten years old in dragon years
lots of goals made to achieve
for the beginning of a brand new year!
