         Awake to the song
         Sung saint to saint
         Light to Light

         Awake where we port
         Souls to rest in
         harbor safe
         From raging sea
         Deepening taunts

         I've seen the Christ
         in eyes of singers bright
         Drifters from the
         Darkening deep

         Awake in the sounds of
         Tides arising break
         Waters bruising the reef
         soul to winter safe 'til
         Wakening seasons change

         Its Christ who rigs
         my vessel a soul's
         course set for shoals
         Life's oceans lift me up
