Losing a pet.
I never met her horse yet she was in my heart and senses.
Now she lives in animal heaven, my heart is now defenseless.
Gone from Earthly things, she lives on in my soul.
We'll meet again some day, darling we'll have it all.

Riding in the country lane, free from pain, away from shame.
On golden wings, her horse did fly, writing this poem, it's hard not to cry.
There is nothing I wouldnt give, to pet her one more time.
We know she had a good life, her memory now my shrine.

Take a minute to remember dear Cassie, for she was loving and kind.
The perfect horse, the one you'd hope to find.
She now lives in animal heaven, along side my poor little Guiness.
At night when the stars come out, their hearts still beat through all of this.

No one will ever know of the heart ache for our animals.
No one will ever understand.
Reach for the Universe and reach deep inside.
My feelings for our animals are mine to so abide.
