The Passing Of A Mom -I wrote this on another account but switched accounts- |
Oh Mom: Oh Mom how I miss you, Why did you leave me here alone? Oh Mom how I love you, But now you must rest under that gravestone. Oh Mom please come back, The way you tucked me in at night, oh how I miss that so! Oh Mom your death was surely my drawback, And no one knows my sorrow. Oh Mom I am not ready for you to go, I love you Mom so dearly, and now you may never know. Oh Mom we used to sit together not to long ago, Oh How I miss you Mom, so why did you leave me here alone? Oh Mom your smile was like the rising sun, But your death was my darkest night. Oh Mom I will forever be your son. And I will continue to fight. Oh Mom please sleep well tonight, It is my turn to tuck you in. Oh Mom how you were a sight, And when you left oh how it felt like a sin! Oh Mom your Golden hands laid to rest, And your beautiful heart stopped beating. Momma we know that God only takes the Best, And I will not let your death be defeating Oh Mom why won’t you talk to me? Please Don’t leave, I need you here! Oh Mom how the sound of your voice was so heavenly, And You wiped away all of my tears. Oh Mom have you chosen not to listen to my prayers or my pleas? I promised you that I will see you again. So Mom come back...please I promise you I will not let your death be in vain. Oh Mom your smile was like the rising sun, But your death was my darkest night. Oh Mom I will forever be your son, And I will continue to fight. Sleep in peace Mom Knowing that I love you Cause It is my Turn to tuck you in Rest. In. Peace. Momma. I Promise I’ll see you again! |
