An offer too good to be true. |
Once a legitimate offer was given; awe and amazement are waiting for you. I came across it in verdant surroundings; it was an offer too good to be true. Towering sycamore, green hues abounding; bluebells forever, the fields are alive. Mallard and deer, hoots of barred owl come evening; myriad species of mammal survive. Wee are the beetles in species aplenty; spiders the engineers nature assigns. Then soars a blue heron wingspan majestic; avian life, there are so many kinds. Waterfall cascading roaring like thunder; billowing shower, a white foaming plan. Power outstretched aqueduct in the making; seeking with might, water-sculpting the land. Sunlight and moonlight from lamps of creation; myriad stars in the firmament vast. Earth in the Goldilocks Zone for the living; yet out in space worlds abundant are cast. There is aurora, those Northern Lights shimmer; deep in the soil a groundhog abides. Iris and buttercup, lilac aroma; white cumulus, on the soft winds it rides. Bonds are what She, Mother Nature provides us; in a way it seems to be super glue. Free for the taking on so many levels; it is an offer too good to be true. 28 Lines Writer’s Cramp Winner 7-11-20 |
