"stalk around me in that way you do"
the sunlight shines yellow in your hair
glistening like stardust
shoulders slim and strong
enough to carry the burden of me
jaw firm, you have your way
if I were a boy
I'd fight you, just to see you
stalk around me in that way you do
stride long, eyes flashing
I'll stoke your fire in any way I can
don't hurt yourself on me
you are a cat, rolling strut
arrogant in your silence
I am a bitch, yapping at your heels
biting your nape
forgive me for being the wrong species
maybe we can meet in the middle
that sensual snarl curled
I press my finger against it
I'll eat your razor words
I'll talk over you, you'll hate it
but in this light we're both made of stardust
glimmering, we can drown
in each other, I'll be the envy
of better ladies
and be absolved
battle-hardened and bloodied
we are crazy in love
