When the bunny saw the parrot talking to the ferret, it became quite funny. When the ferret ate the carrot, It was so strange that it couldn't bear it. The ant met the aunt Who wanted him/her to get a grant. There's no use to rant, When she told the dog not to pant; There's no such word as can't. The cat saw the rat, Looking up at the bat. When the rat began to chat, The cat didn't know what to do about that. Then, the cat took one look at the bat, Before it scattered away to play in the hay. When it saw its better half, The calf began to laugh. Its fate would be decided; There was no use in worrying, Cause if it was late for dinner, It could very well relate. The stallion was dancing with the hare, When it forgot about the mare. The colt got a jolt, When the filly got quite silly, When he thought her name was Billy. It put on some brand new thongs, When the bird heard a song. When it became physically fit, It knew that the song would become a hit, Then it knew it couldn't quit. The chicken was quite stunning, With a look that was so becoming. As it looked into the light, it thought that it was bright. Much to its surprise and delight, It decided to take a flight. It was such a rarity, That the chipmunk stole the show. When it stumbled over the sack, The stripes went rolling down its back. With much sincerity, the squirrel gave a whirl for charity, When it became a parity. Written By Anna Marie Carlson Thursday, September 24, 2020 |
