This day a Child was Born

And this day a child was born,
      one who will change my world.
He shows me unconditional love,
forgiveness in this cruel world.

He who battles disease and death for me,
May I surrender and repent my sins!
He renews my body to serve Him,
Where I may have eternal life with our Father.

His beauty surrounds us,
As a reminder of His love.
Love blossoms in my soul,
Forever may it grow.

Renewal of my spirit
To which strengthens our relationship.
Today a child was born,
He changed my world for eternity.
