Crystalline

Veins run rife with blue,
Twisting in a tapestry of winter,
A quiet avalanche,
A blissful dance

Shimmering and soft,
Fierce and singing,
Frostbite fingers stinging,
While snowflakes are winging

White wisteria kisses,
Cyan lipped ghost of winter's present,
Tenuous tinsel touches,
An ephemeral ghost of ice

A dance that seems eternal,
Conclusion all too soon,
My wish to freeze this moment,
The chill of midnight winter's moon
