The Enigma

"I give up,the treadmill has worn me out...........I am ready.

The ups and the downs,the rights and the wrongs..... have broken me.The journey that has taken me from the place I was, to the place I will be.... has been long.As I struggled in the beginning to walk, now too, shall I struggle to accept the sleep that awaits on the other side of my last breath.For on the breath I came into the body,and so too shall this very breath carry me out.

To remember that day when my eyes first opened, and I began my journey into this world.The day I found myself facing uncertainties, and trials,not knowing anything about the place that I've found myself in.Not even knowing myself yet.

Completely pure,and with an unblemished mind,I began the story of me.

A truly dizzying trial of failures, and victories.Without pain there is no gain,so the saying goes.Walking through a maze of doors in a place where as one closed, another one opened.The many endings that became beginnings.

Though there be many around me,the truth is I've walked it alone.And now as the memories fade into a movie that is no more.I ask myself “If it is no more, was it ever real”?

The life I've experienced is gone..... forever,what is done is done.The story of who I was,will drift forever on the winds of the past.Only to find life once again in the memories of the ones left behind.

To one day realize that now is the only time I have.For every second that life is lived, a step is taken through the doorway of the past, into the eternity of the of the future.It is I who stands at the center of all creation and Now only exists because I am here.Yet I let my habits of yesterday, and worries of tomorrow steal away the preciousness of today.

Many times we simply accept life the way it is,instead of living it the way it was meant to be.One of my biggest failures,perhaps one day I will overcome it.When you've followed one vision all your life, changing can seem insurmountable. Maybe life is all about finding the truth of the One Love that eludes most of us".
