but expression through art
Is where an exception does lie.

can do the impossible
and stop the clock's toll.

So sitting before the loom,
with only time to face,
a beautiful tapestry
will defy the urge to race.

The hours do pass,
That much cannot be altered,
but at the moment of completion,
the artist has not faltered.

the steady passing of time

through which he can break free
from all life's tribulations
