Sea

Off the coast, some distance away, there is a little white light bobbing on the sea.

It bobs, swallowed by the waves, bounding back up to the surface.

Fish of all sorts have swam up to it. Prodding and mouthing. They tire and wander off.

It bobs. The sky dooms and glooms overhead. The night sky washes over the sea and it reflects the abyss.

A trawler passes by and tosses nets into the water. The little light passes straight through the holes.

The netting sinks.

It bobs.
