Not much to this except road musing.
Judiciously we call Jerimoth a hill,
Either that or proclaim
Rhode Island as flat,
In the contempt of
My least favorite state.
Our travels took us there.
The road went no other way.
“Here we go again! Rhode Island!”

Have you ever seen
Ill will cased in a state map?
Little Rhody I like you not.
Little do I enjoy your lands.

Rhode Island
Has no real features in my mind.
One interstate follows another,
Down the eastern seaboard,
East but not down east.

I wonder why it is an island,
Seems pretty landlocked to me,
Like a bad tourist trap,
And Jerimoth doesn’t even loom.
Nothing great except traffic,
Dragging me past the hill.
