Jack has a short nightmare
Chapter 3

You awake, although something doesn't seem right. You are no longer have your fly body, and are back to normal... relevently. You're still shrunk, you can tell from the cosmic distance between you and the ceiling. Something is wrong, well atleast more wrong, as you are unable to move your arms and legs. You are on your back, spread out stuck to the floor. You try to move your arms and leggs but they are glued firmly to the floor.

If I found him I would glue him on some scotch tape and leave him on the floor somewhere...

That sounds like your sister Rachel's voice. Something isn't right, the last time you shrunk you woke up normal sized... but last time you transformed into a fly??? What is going on?

You remember this conversation from the first time you shrunk... For them it was a quirky conversation, but you DID turn into a bug, and your mother DID step on you. Something doesn't add up...

Maybe if I saw him as a bug and I didn't know it was him i would squish him. I might put him outside, or use some bug spray. And if that doesn't work...

That was your mother's voice! But wait, that means-

BOOOOOOOOOM! Your mother stomps her foot on the ground.

You look up at the giant forms of your mother and sister. Rachel has her arms crossed with a smug smirk on her face. Your mother, Claire, has her hands planted firmly on her waist with an air of disappointment. From this angle they tower over you.

-A bug. your mother says with a scowl.

-NO! MOM, RACHEL IT'S ME PLEASE HELP ME! You cry desperately.

-Ha! See mom, I told you Jack always wanted to be a bug! Rachel says with a devilish smile.

-NO WAIT, MOM DON'T LISTEN TO HER! You cry out in vein.

-He's always been nothing more than a pest mom. Plus I found a pair of Sarah's socks in his room! He's the one buying them from her little brother, I can't wait to tell her!

You turn red with embarassment. You feel ill, and suddenly everything looks even bigger than before!

-Look mom, he's shrinking again! Rachel says while pointing at you. This time her voice is even louder.

-SHUT UP RACHEL!

You look up at the two titanic women. At this point Rachel stops smiling.

-I think it's trying to say something. Pathetic.

You shrink down even more...

-MOM HELP ME PLEASE!

-JACK! The blonde giantess says sternly. The sheer weight of her voice shakes you to your very core. Your sister is right, you are nothing but a pest. Not even worthy of being a human, let alone my son.

-I AM A PERSON MOM! YOUR SON!

You remember the converation you once had with your mother. In it, you remember her saying: "If it’s tiny and squishable it’s a bug to me." Given your current size, you have much to worry about. You look back up at the woman who raised you lovingly from birth. Now she is hellbent on your destruction.

-You are nothing more to me than a bug, and you know the rules!

Your mother raises her giant foot in the air. Her heel rests on the floor infront of you as her massive sole blocks out your entire vision! You can see very clearly all the inprints and wrinkles of her foot, as she scrunches and relaxes her toes ontop of you.

-No bugs in the house.

BOOM!

Her massive foot lowers down on your tiny frame. You hear many crunches as your body is squashed under the weight of your mother. You're not dead though as your world is turned upside down.

Claire steps down on the bug that was glued onto the scotch tape. She then raises and turns her foot over to peel off the tape from her sole.

-EW... It's still alive. She says with empty pity as she tosses you back onto the floor.

Your mangled body falls almost endlessly onto the floor below. After all of this, you look up at your mother and Rachel above you. In your mother's right hand is a can of bug spray.

-mom.... please...

-Disgusting. She says as she bends down and unleashes a torrent of noxious chemicals at you, that burn and melt your body down to nothing.
