A POEM OF MY CHILDHOOD

On Easter Sunday
A holy day
At mass with family
Easter Monday
picnic day
No fancy eggs
did shop display
Boiled egg painted
face special way.
Sandwiches wrapped
empty bread wrapper
A bottle filed with tap water
To go on the picnic
I couldn't be happier.
