Dreams of being together are born.
Which will build over a lifetime
Of memories, compassion and Love.

Over time as you become one, a wrinkle develops
and the slow changing of one’s essence,
without one ever realizing, starts to happen.

The Love that was present seemed nothing more than an illusion.
Thus in time, rendering an extremely passionate being;
Into nothing more than a broken shell of a person.

Facing their realization that many years
Could be lost and never be brought back.
Their youth is gone and sadness prevails.

Working through good and bad times;
Thinking everything was genuine.
Only to find in the end, nothing ever was.

What once was beautiful;
Became a nightmare of
Shattered Dreams.
