Standing at the water edge

As the tide flows in,

Ocean water laps at my feet.

I feel at one with the sea.

The depths of the salty waves

Fill with mermaid shoals.

Among the coral reefs and seaweed

Fish and dolphins dance.

Shimmering and sparkling with wonder,

It is a place of enchantment.

The wide ocean casts its spell over my whole being —

I can never ever stop loving its magic hold on me.
