Poppies and Sunflowers

What are the true reasons, why we have to wage war?
Why can't we forgive each other and wage war no more?
Can't we all not forgive and place love within our hearts?

Haven't we as a race not sacrificed enough blood for all?
Sacrificing your life for the monetary will not right a wrong.
History repeats itself in perpetuity due to the ignorance of all.

Taking that which is not freely given shall bring no peace.
Opposite opinions can't forgive and see another person's point of view.
Love brings forth new life, whereas death extinguishes all life eventually.

Blood-soaked battlefields where all the poppies and sunflowers still grow.
Old sayings ring true "You reap what you in truth, sow."
