A short story about a young girl and the insecurity she faced in the society.
I sat with three other friends at a round table, drinking, cheering and dancing, as we listened to some melodies. It was a small terrific party. With the dimmed party lights, I could barely see people's faces. We had fun playing games and taking shots as we lost. I took more shots since I was always losing my turns in the game.

I began to feel dizzy and almost numb. This tipsy sentiment made me want more alcohol. It all seemed so fun, as the song mix got me in a great mood. I slowly stood up to dance. I lost my balance and it felt like my head was heavy, I fell right back in my seat and sat quietly. I took a bottle of water and gulped it. I did this steadily just to circumvent embarrassing myself, with the drunken display.

"ha, hahaha you're such a loser!" I sensed that it was Charlie when I heard the demonic laughter, she was always coming at me at every opportunity, this got to me, I felt down and I had to excuse myself. I made my way to the restroom immediately. Albeit, I was still a bit tipsy, I already got a clutch on myself.

As I ascended the stairs that led to the restroom, I held onto the bannister on the staircase, and on my other hand was my bottle of water. As I climbed, I noticed someone's eyes bore into me, I felt it was apparent that I was tipsy, I became so nervous and walked into the restroom hastily, and slammed the door.

I was about to leave the restroom when I heard the opening and creaking of the door. I was nervous. A guy peeped in suspiciously, offering to help me down the stairs, claiming he caught a glimpse of my imbalance. I just grinned and told him I was fine walking on my own. He insisted, but I kept on rejecting, as he stood at the door I couldn't also have my way out.

He then stopped peeping and entered the restroom with another guy, who surprisingly happens to be the one staring at me, while I clambered the stairs. I became nervous and discombobulated. I knew something was wrong, as I tried to push through, they pulled me back forcefully, both holding my left and right arm with their hands and they slammed the door and locked it.

I was shocked, I became really weak and paralysed out of fear, I couldn't move my body and there were two strong men against the weak. I felt lifeless as they pushed me to the floor, I couldn't scream or say a word, I was so dumb and helpless, tears poured out of my innocent eyes.

They tore my dress, took my bottle of water that had already fallen to the floor, opened it and poured the water on me as I puked. I really wanted to struggle but I couldn't still move, I just kept whimpering. All I did was stare blankly as they put off the light and the whole room got dark.

I found myself tattered, in bruises, pain and blood, I burst into a loud cry and screamed. I had passed out for a few hours, I could hear voices of people lamenting for my sake. I was rushed to a hospital, I was only healed physically, the whole experience left me abnormal and I keep indicting myself.
