Insomnia wins again

Another sleepless night,
Insomnia wins again..

No use trying to fight,
The monster that's deep within..

It gets me every time,
I'm afraid I've lost control..

Am I losing my mind,
Or has it taken it's toll..

Either way I can't sleep,
Now I'm searching for the sun..

And as I start to weep,
Oh, sandman what have you done..

Where was my friend tonight,
With his bucket full of sand..

To seal my eyes up tight,
And carry me to Dreamland..

Instead, I lay waiting,
Darkness slowly starts to fade..

The dawn now invading,
Just in time for a new day..

And as the morning dew,
Softly lands upon the ground..

One thing I know is true,
I dread when sleep can't be found..
