Mary Jo

I never liked tattoos too much
till I met Mary Jo.
She has some ink all over her.
She has tats high and low.

That tattoo artist was precise
when he performed his craft.
Now Mary Jo displays his work
all over, fore and aft.

She has a parrot on one arm;
it’s yellow, red and blue.
The planet earth that’s on her back
says Mother, I Love You.

She has some other fine designs
that you will never see.
Those are the ones below her waist,
reserved for only me.

But if I must confess to you,
the one that I like best
may be the one she proudly wears
above her ample chest.

Yeah, that’s the one in fancy font
you have to squint to see.
If you get close enough to read,
it says she’s GLUTEN FREE.
