About the Devil’s daughter

The Devil’s daughter, Sina, was a toddler in her threes,
she had long red hair, in pigtails, and wore red dungarees.

Her tiny fangs were her only visible demonic trait,
and would only be shown if she was ecstatic or irate.

Sina was very clever, she could properly walk,
but not even one word, did she ever talk.

Sina played the fiddle exceptionally well,
but she had never been outside of Hell.

One day, when her father was out,
Sina decided to go for a walk about.

She then spotted with her fiery red eyes,
the gateway for Hell and it was a surprise.

This was one of the busiest days of the year for Sina’s dad,
so she was going to have the best fun she had ever had.

Sina walked through the gate as fast as she could,
grinning, she knew she was up to no good.

With eyes shut; Sina heard the sound of crunching bone,
this was familiar to her, she had heard it back at home.

She opened her eyes and saw orange and black,
and then she fell asleep, laying on her back.

The Devil was infuriated as he returned to his throne;
“Where is my daughter?” he shouted at the crone.

Sina sat in front of a strange, unfamiliar sight;
it was very big and was all black and white.

Sina looked at this creature, before giving it a smile;
she decided to sit there and watch this animal for a while.

Her father rattled his fingers on the arm of his throne,
he stopped, looked up and said with an angry tone;

“This is the day when I should reign supreme,
the day that mortals name Halloween!

It is not a day I should be searching for my child,”
his fingers drummed more, he was obviously riled.

“Master, we have found her,” a demon said,
“Well, let’s get her and bring her back to bed!”

The Devil got up, taking his cloak off of his arm,
heading into the portal, he found himself on a farm.

The Devil asked his demon as he spotted the girl;
“What is that creature that is staring at my pearl?”

“They call that a calf, sir,” the demon did quickly reply,
“Let’s watch a little while,” and so they continued to spy.

The calf licked Sina on the cheek and then exclaimed; “Moo!”
Sina showed her fangs and spoke her first word; “Boo!”

Her father walked over, picked her up and began to turn around,
but Sina wailed and started to cry, so he placed her on the ground.

Sina hugged the calf around its neck, to the calf’s surprise,
and then looked up to her father with very suggestive eyes.

The Devil shook his head and then wiped his brow,
and so it was that Sina grew up with a pet cow.
