TEARDROPS


Teardrops on a pillow,
sometimes will never fade,
Tear stains can be washed away,
not the reason they were made.

That remains within a mind,
and might last forever.
It may dim a bit with time,
but gone, maybe not ever.

So think before you do, or say,
what causes her to cry.
You will have to live with it,
until the day you die.

You can say you’re sorry,
for what you did or said,
maybe she’ll forgive you,
or might just leave instead.

If you love her hold her gently,
whisper words that make her sigh.
Cause no teardrops on her pillow,
often they lead to goodbye.
