Buried in the woods and forgotten.
JANE DOE

I am just an image from the corner of your eye,
you don’t even glance up, as I walk slowly by.

I am just a memory of a shortened life;
I was buried in the woods and once was someone’s wife.

I was beaten, stabbed and kicked in the head;
Wrapped in a blanket and left for dead.

I cry out for help each and everyday;
But I can’t get anyone to even look my way

Do me a favor and use dogs, hikers and planes,
Whatever you have to use, to find my remains.

I have clues to share, about my death
How I was murdered, how he took my last breath.

On my body you will find blood, fibers and DNA;
I’m sure these details will point you the right way.

I don’t want to roam here and be a Jane Doe;
I want to be found and exhumed for everyone to know.

Please find him and stop him, he’s full of hate.
You see this man, was my very own mate.
